Mission
The mission of the Middle School Career and Technical Education (CTE) Curriculum Manager is to manage and support the successful implementation of the CTE curriculum at IDEA Public Schools. The Curriculum Manager will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive, research-based, standards-aligned, and user-friendly curriculum. The Curriculum Manager will execute a curriculum implementation support system to drive teacher effectiveness and student success. The Curriculum Manager will support, monitor, and evaluate curriculum implementation by conducting site visits, providing feedback, designing professional development, seeking feedback, and reporting on student progress and achievement.
Description
The Curriculum Manager will be responsible for creating, revising, and refining curriculum products, aligning instructional materials to standards, designing assessments, supporting professional development, analyzing student achievement data, and collaborating with team members. The role requires travel for site visits and team workshops, as well as remote work.

Location
This is a full-time position based in Texas, with preference for candidates in Austin, El Paso, Houston, Permian Basin (Midland/Odessa), Rio Grande Valley, San Antonio, and Tarrant County (Fort Worth), or those willing to relocate.
Travel Expectations
Up to 30% travel during peak times for campus visits and team workshops.
Essential Duties
Create and refine curriculum and instructional resources, align materials to standards, develop assessments, analyze data, support professional development, mentor Course Leaders, and participate in team meetings and campus observations.
Additional Duties
Demonstrate proficiency in curriculum design, knowledge of standards and assessments, research, organizational and communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
Required Experience
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred. Teaching experience of at least five years in relevant content area, educator certification, and proficiency with Microsoft 365 and educational technology.
Preferred Experience
Strong record of student achievement, curriculum development, assessment design, professional development facilitation, and leadership experience.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for prolonged periods, lift up to 20 pounds, and travel as needed.
What We Offer
Salary range $81,800 - $95,800, performance pay, comprehensive benefits, and potential relocation stipend.
