Mission

The mission of the Middle School Career and Technical Education (CTE) Curriculum Manager is to manage and support the successful implementation of the CTE curriculum at IDEA Public Schools. The Curriculum Manager will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive, research-based, standards-aligned, and user-friendly curriculum. They will execute a curriculum support system to enhance teacher effectiveness and student success through site visits, feedback, professional development, and reporting on student achievement.

Description

The Curriculum Manager will:

• Create and refine curriculum products, including scope and sequences and instructional resources.
• Align instructional materials with standards and create supportive assessments.
• Design and deliver professional development and support teachers and Course Leaders.
• Analyze student achievement data to inform instruction and curriculum adjustments.
• Support and lead campus observations, provide feedback, and participate in team meetings.

Additional Duties

The role requires proficiency in curriculum design, knowledge of standards and assessments, research skills, organizational and communication skills, and interpersonal skills. A minimum of five years teaching experience, educator certification, and a relevant degree are required. Experience facilitating professional development and leadership are preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Travel up to 30% for site visits and meetings

What We Offer

Salary range: $81,800 - $95,800, with performance pay potential. Benefits include health plans, insurance, parental benefits, flexible spending, vacation, bonuses, professional development, and a 403(b) plan. Relocation stipends may be available.
