Mission

The mission of the Middle School Career and Technical Education (CTE) Curriculum Manager is to manage and support the successful implementation of the CTE curriculum at IDEA Public Schools. The Curriculum Manager will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive, research-based, standards-aligned, and user-friendly curriculum. The Curriculum Manager will execute a curriculum implementation support system to drive teacher effectiveness and student success. The Curriculum Manager will support, monitor, and evaluate curriculum implementation through site visits, providing feedback, designing professional development, seeking feedback, and reporting on student progress and achievement.

Description

The Curriculum Manager will:

• Create, revise, and refine curriculum products to meet student achievement goals.
• Design and post curriculum materials according to deadlines.
• Align instructional materials to standards and create scope and sequence.
• Develop assessments and supporting documents, and analyze assessment data to inform instruction.
• Support and coach Course Leaders, and provide professional development and training.
• Analyze student achievement data and provide feedback to improve curriculum implementation.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate across teams.
• Travel as needed for site visits and workshops.

Additional Duties

The role requires proficiency in curriculum design, knowledge of standards and assessments, research expertise, organizational and communication skills, and interpersonal skills.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Educator certification required.
• At least five years teaching experience in relevant content area.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and educational technology.

Preferred Experience

• Strong student achievement record.
• Experience in curriculum writing, assessment design, and professional development.
• Leadership experience in managing teams or projects.

Physical Requirements

• Sitting for prolonged periods.
• Lifting up to 20 pounds.
• Travel for meetings, observations, and conferences.

What We Offer

Salaries range from $81,800 to $95,800, with performance pay eligibility. Benefits include health plans, disability, life insurance, parental benefits, flexible spending, vacation, bonuses, professional development, and a 403(b) plan. Relocation stipends may be available.
