Job summary

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks a Catalog & Curriculum Editor in the Office of the University Registrar. You will maintain integrity of curricular documents and coordinate catalog-related systems and publications.

You will act as editorial liaison across campus, proofread and ensure accuracy, and help onboard new programs into catalog systems while coordinating with the Graduate and Undergraduate Curricula. Occasional duties may include the commencement program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Experience editing and proofreading complex publications with high accuracy.
• Knowledge of curriculum governance, program approvals, and degree requirements.
• Experience with student information systems/c curriculum management platforms like PeopleSoft or CourseLeaf.

Responsibilities

• Maintain integrity of curricular documents and systems.
• Design and implement catalog and curriculum-related systems and publications.
• Coordinate maintenance of Master Inventory of Programs and related PeopleSoft tables.
• Editorial duties for Undergraduate and Graduate Catalogs; liaison across campus.
• Assist with onboarding of new programs and certificates to catalog systems; may help with commencement program.
