Job summary

Bags, a Metropolis company, is hiring a Curbside Check-in Agent to work outdoors at a busy airport curbside. You will greet guests, check luggage, issue boarding passes and provide flight information with strong customer service. Flexible weekends required and training provided.

Starting pay is $15.00 per hour plus tips, with benefits including 401k and health coverage options. Prior customer service experience preferred, and ability to lift luggage up to 75 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in the early morning rotation.
• At least 6 months experience in a face-to-face guest service position preferred.
• Data Entry and/or computer experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests and clients.
• Ability to work in outside weather conditions required.
• Knowledge of the airline or travel industry preferred.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must pass pre-employment criminal background screening.
• Must pass pre-employment Drug Testing process.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests as they approach the desk.
• Assist guest with check-in of luggage to appropriate airlines.
• Verify guest flight itinerary and number of bags.
• Input guest information for new enrollees.
• Process check-in and charge for bags as per airline requirements.
• Weigh bags and charge for overweight items.
• Tag luggage with destination tags.
• Provide boarding passes, luggage tickets and receipts.
• Secure luggage after processing.
