Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and safe food handling.
• Ability to read product labels and communicate basic job-related information.
• Previous kitchen or culinary experience in a hotel, resort, or restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and supervisor instructions.
• Set up and break down assigned stations for service.
• Assist with ingredient preparation, washing, peeling, cutting, and chopping as needed.
• Maintain proper cooking temperatures and techniques to ensure quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, equipment, prep areas, and storage.
• Participate in routine and deep cleaning, sanitations, and trash removal.
• Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing food deliveries.
• Report equipment issues or safety hazards promptly.
• Attend meetings and trainings and contribute improvement ideas.
