ST JOE RESORT OPERATIONS LLC is seeking a Cook to prepare menu items, support daily kitchen operations, and maintain a clean, organized environment. You will help with ingredient prep, monitor inventory, and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.

The role requires basic kitchen knowledge, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hotel, resort, or restaurant setting. ServSafe certification is a plus, with opportunities for certification after hire.

Qualifications

Formal culinary training or certification is required or strongly preferred.
ServSafe certification (may be obtained after hire) and knowledge of safe food handling.
Strong teamwork, communication, and ability to work under pressure are essential.

Responsibilities

Set up and break down assigned stations for service.
Assist with ingredient preparation and maintain proper inventory handling.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas and equipment.
Perform routine and deep cleaning, sanitation tasks, and trash removal.
Respond to equipment issues or safety hazards promptly and report to supervision.
Attend scheduled meetings and trainings; contribute improvement ideas.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
