Job summary

You will follow recipes, manage station setup, assist with ingredient prep, and ensure safety and sanitation standards are met while delivering high-quality hospitality experiences in a resort setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to read product labels and follow recipes.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and safe food handling.
• Previous kitchen or culinary experience in a hotel, resort, or restaurant.
• Culinary coursework or certification.
• ServSafe certification may be obtained after hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and supervisor instructions.
• Set up and break down assigned stations for service.
• Assist with ingredient preparation including washing, peeling, cutting, and chopping.
• Maintain proper cooking temperatures, times, and techniques for quality.
• Manage storage, labeling, rotations, and inventory handling to prevent waste.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and prep areas.
• Perform routine and deep cleaning and sanitation tasks; remove trash as required.
• Assist with unloading, organizing, and storing food deliveries.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation standards; meet health regulations.
• Attend meetings and trainings; contribute improvement ideas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
