Qualifications

• Formal culinary training or certification is required or strongly preferred.
• ServSafe certification (may be obtained after hire) and knowledge of safe food handling.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and ability to work under pressure are essential.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down assigned stations for service.
• Assist with ingredient preparation and maintain proper inventory handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas and equipment.
• Perform routine and deep cleaning, sanitation tasks, and trash removal.
• Respond to equipment issues or safety hazards promptly and report to supervision.
• Attend scheduled meetings and trainings; contribute improvement ideas.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job SummaryThe Cook is responsible for preparing menu items, supporting daily kitchen operations, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. This role includes assisting with ingredient preparation, monitoring inventory levels, caring for kitchen equipment, and help train new team members.
