Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking on-call kitchen staff to support daily service and food preparation across our dining operations. Roles include setup of serving lines, maintaining food temperatures, and assisting in bakery tasks as needed.

Responsibilities include following the menu plan, using proper equipment, handling cash/register tasks, and ensuring safe, clean work areas. This position requires flexibility and commitment to serving students and communities.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read simple instructions and write simple correspondence.
• Basic arithmetic including rate, ratio and percent.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines and ensure proper food temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu plan and recipes; batch cook and present to customers.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment with proper certification.
• Keep work areas neat, clean and organized; maintain FIFO stock.
• Handle customer monies, operate a cash register, and ensure only reimbursable meals pass POS.
• Submit hours via ADP or edit sheet; notify DNS in advance of inability to cover shifts.
