The role requires strong knife skills, ServSafe certification, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team, with shifts AM/PM and weekend availability; responsibilities include food prep, inventory, and ensuring quality according to standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• ServSafe Food Handling certification required at hire or within 45 days.
• Must have knife/cutting skills.
• Must be punctual and dependable.
• Must have an understanding of cooking techniques.
• Culinary experience in restaurants, hotels, or catering companies; trend experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to take orders and work well in a team-driven, fast-paced environment.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, creative, and motivated to assist in food prep and presentation.

Responsibilities

• The Cook will participate in training and directing new and existing Air Culinaire team members, ensuring all food, packaging, labeling, and allergens on trays are accurate and compliant with safety standards.
• The Cook will be available to work AM and PM shifts.
• The Cook will assist in the butchering of meats and fish and support daily kitchen operations.
• Ensure that all food preparations and presentations meet ACW specifications and quality standards.
• Use preventative maintenance with kitchen equipment and direct others to do the same.
• The Cook will assist in ordering, inventory, cleaning, and other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
