Job summary

Air Culinaire Worldwide, LLC in San Jose, CA is seeking a full-time Cook to prepare high-quality menu items for catering orders on site. You will follow established recipes, handle hot and cold foods, and support kitchen management in daily operations.

You will train team members, ensure food safety, manage inventory with the GM, and use Shipday for order logistics. The role requires ServSafe certification, knife skills, and the ability to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• ServSafe Food Handling Certificate required at hire or within 45 days.
• Must have knife/cutting skills.
• Must understand cooking techniques.
• Culinary experience in restaurants, hotels, or catering; with new trends preferred.
• Ability to take orders and work well in a team-driven, fast-paced environment.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and highly motivated in food preparation and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Train and direct new and existing Air Culinaire team members with food safety and HACCP awareness.
• Provide feedback to Kitchen Management to monitor and improve quality.
• Assist in butchering meats and fish and daily kitchen operations.
• Ensure all preparations and presentations meet ACW standards and quality.
• Maintain a safe, clean kitchen and proper sanitation practices.
• Assist in ordering, inventory, and other duties as assigned by the GM.
• Use Shipday for order logistics and delivery records, including delivery photos and recipient names.
