Job summary

Sysco is seeking an experienced outside sales professional to promote our products and services and build relationships with new and existing accounts. The role requires traveling to customer sites and may involve non-traditional hours to meet customer needs.

You will drive growth in the assigned territory, qualify prospects, tailor solutions, and participate in training and district meetings. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent sales experience is preferred; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline OR HSD/GED with 3 years sales/restaurant management experience.
• Valid driver's license with insurability; automobile insurance as specified.
• Reside or relocate to the territory.
• Pass employment testing and sign Sysco Covenants Agreement.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and expand existing accounts for profitable sales growth.
• Research customer needs and tailor a mix of products/services.
• Be informed about market conditions and competitors' products and prices.
• Drive personal vehicle to accounts, meetings, and events.
• Manage deliveries and order issues per routing schedule.
