Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Cook for the Montvale facility in Springfield, IL. The part-time role runs 12:30pm–7:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays with a pay range of $18.25–$21.25 per hour. You will prepare menu items, adhere to health standards, and interact with residents to tailor meals to their preferences.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
• Current Food Handlers Card as required by the Department of Health.
• Experience in leadership, training, and supervision is preferred.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Criminal background clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Adhere to health protocols and proper food temperatures at all times.
• Get to know residents’ preferences and needs and engage with them.
• Help supervise and train kitchen staff as needed.
• Support events and activities indoors and outdoors when required.
