Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• English communication with Residents.
• Current Food Handlers Card per Department of Health.
• Proven leadership, training, and supervision abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication with management and staff.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day.
• Ability to lift/move items up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable with extreme temperatures (cooking surfaces and walk-ins).
• Work indoors primarily; availability for outdoor events.
• Criminal background check clearance.

Responsibilities

• Culinary craftsman: prepare all menu items per recipes and standards to deliver high-quality, attractively presented meals promptly.
• Maintain health protocols, proper hygiene, sanitary food prep, and correct food temperatures.
• Culinary connector: get to know residents, their preferences, and participate in orientations.
