Montvale Senior Living in Springfield, IL is seeking a friendly part-time Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare menu items per established recipes, present attractively, and deliver quality meals in a timely manner.

The role requires health-compliant practices, ability to stand all shift, lift up to 50 pounds, and a valid Food Handlers Card. Shifts are Friday and Saturday, 12:30pm–7:30pm; pay $18.25–$21.25 per hour, with comprehensive benefits.

Competenze

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• English literacy with Residents.
• Food Handlers Card as specified per the Department of Health.
• Leadership, training, and supervision experience.
• Strong written and oral communication with management and staff.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel and stoop all day.
• Lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable with extreme temperatures and cooking environments.
• Indoor work with events outdoors as needed.
• Criminal background cleared.
