Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must read/write/communicate in English with Residents.
• Current Food Handlers Card as required by the Department of Health.
• Demonstrated leadership, training, and supervision skills.
• Strong written and oral communication with management and staff.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day.
• Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable around extreme temperatures, including cooking surfaces and walk-in freezers.
• Ability to work indoors with events outside as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all menu items according to established recipes and present meals attractively and timely.
• Maintain health protocols, including hygiene, sanitary food prep, and proper food temperatures.
• Familiarize yourself with residents and their preferences; participate in resident orientations.
