Job summary

Veeva Systems is seeking a Director of Strategy to drive adoption and growth of our CTMS within the Veeva Clinical Operations suite. This strategic leader will define market approach and align cross-functional teams to streamline trials for sponsors and CROs.

The role requires a blend of strategic thinking, execution, and clinical operations knowledge, with a track record leading GTM initiatives in life sciences software.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in strategic leadership, business development, or GTM strategy within clinical software/SaaS/PaaS.
• Proven operator able to switch between high-level strategy and detailed execution.
• Excellent communication with diverse audiences including C-level executives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to grow CTMS adoption among Life Sciences customers.
• Engage executive stakeholders and articulate the measurable value of a unified CTMS.
• Partner with Sales to define target accounts and support strategic sales cycles.
• Represent Veeva as a CTMS thought leader at industry events and meetings.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Services to refine CTMS positioning and roadmap.
• Gather customer feedback on trial management pain points to inform product strategy.
