Job summary

Veeva Systems is seeking an accomplished Senior Director of Strategy to drive adoption and growth of our CTMS within the Veeva Clinical Operations suite. This strategic leader will shape market strategy, align sponsors and CROs, and partner with product, sales, and services to accelerate value realization.

The role requires a deep blend of strategic thinking and execution, with executive communication skills and a track record of delivering cross‑functional results in a life sciences software

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in strategic leadership, business development, or product/go-to-market strategy within clinical software/SaaS/PaaS.
• Proven operator capable of shifting between high-level strategy and detailed execution.
• Exceptional communication with ability to engage C-level executives.

Responsibilities

• Drive Go-to-Market Strategy to increase CTMS adoption among Sponsors, CROs, and biotechs.
• Engage with executive customers to articulate CTMS value and operational impact.
• Support Sales with target accounts and educate on cloud-native CTMS advantages.
• Represent Veeva at industry events to shape market opportunity and credibility.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing and Services to refine CTMS roadmap.
• Gather market feedback to inform product strategy and trial management needs.
