Job summary

Pearson is seeking a State Adoption Advanced Specialist to own strategy, requirements interpretation, and post-adoption execution planning for CTE state adoptions. You will analyze state data, collaborate with RFP/Bid Management, and guide district communications throughout adoption cycles.

The role emphasizes coordinating with Sales and Product teams, understanding state-specific nuances, and ensuring submissions are competitive across districts, including Texas. This is a US-based remote role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in K-12 state adoptions, curriculum procurement, or CTE program strategy in educational technology or a related field.
• Experience with Texas state adoption is especially helpful given Texas' role as a critical adoption state.
• Demonstrated expertise navigating state adoption bid processes and strategic positioning for success.

Responsibilities

• Serve as internal SME on CTE state adoption processes, requirements, and timelines.
• Research state enrollment data and competitive landscape for a given state adoption to inform product decisions.
• Interpret nuanced state submission requirements and translate them into guidance for bid execution.
• Relay what's needed in courseware to clear a state's review hurdle, capturing nuance.
• Coordinate with Sales to support state adoption sell-in activities and guide execution.
