Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma and certifications in radiologic technologist practice.
• ARRT Radiography credential and NMTCB/CT certification required.
• Current unrestricted state license; CT certification within 2 years preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Proficiency with Windows-based software and PACS systems.

Responsabilités

• Verify physician orders and procedures for accuracy.
• Independently operate CT imaging equipment per protocol.
• Explain procedures to patients to ensure understanding and consent.
• Review images for diagnostic quality before transmission.
• Perform routine quality control and adhere to regulatory standards.
• Assist in departmental operations (inventory, staff schedules, equipment maintenance).
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality; work calmly under pressure.
