Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT CT certification or registry eligible within 90 days, and temporary state license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current unrestricted license in state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Verifies physician order and procedure to assure accuracy.
• Uses radiology information systems to facilitate care.
• Explains procedure to patient to ensure understanding.
• Independently operates equipment to complete imaging procedure per protocol.
• Reviews patient images for diagnostic quality.
• Performs quality control procedures and reports concerns.
