Qualifications

• Completion of an approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT-CT certification or eligibility within 90 days of employment.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Verifies physician order and procedure to assure accuracy.
• Operates imaging equipment to complete CT procedures per protocol.
• Explains procedure to patient to ensure understanding.
• Reviews images for diagnostic quality prior to transmission.
• Maintains quality control procedures per regulatory standards.
• Assists in departmental operations (inventory, scheduling, equipment maintenance).
• Adapts approach for diverse patient populations and schedules.
• Performs other related duties as required.
