Job summary

Ochsner Health System's Clearview Medical Complex in Metairie, LA is seeking a CT Technologist (Outpatient) to perform routine CT procedures and serve as a clinical mentor for junior staff and students. This PRN/part-time role requires ARRT CT certification and completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.

Qualifications

• Proficient with CT procedures and related terminology.
• Able to maintain confidentiality and handle pressurized situations.
• Experience with data entry and radiology information systems helpful.

Responsibilities

• Verifies physician order and ensures procedure accuracy.
• Operates imaging equipment per protocol (including IV placement).
• Reviews images for diagnostic quality before transmission.
• Supports department operations (inventory, scheduling, equipment maintenance).
• Explains procedures to patients to ensure understanding.
