Job summary

The CT Technologist at Cobb Hospital within Wellstar performs CT procedures and delivers high-quality imaging while ensuring patient safety and comfort. You will work as part of a collaborative radiology team, adhere to infection control standards, and provide clear explanations to patients using AIDET.

Required qualifications include radiologic training, ARRT certifications, and BLS, with a minimum of one year in radiology. This is a full-time, day-shift role in a supportive health system.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT, BLS.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and adjust techniques to maintain diagnostic quality at ALARA dose.
• Prepare rooms and equipment; report issues promptly and maintain infection control.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and ensure patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures using AIDET; address questions and reduce patient anxiety.
