Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. You will work within Wellstar’s radiology team to perform CT procedures, ensure patient safety, and maintain accurate documentation of imaging studies.

The role emphasizes patient comfort, clear communication using AIDET, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced hospital setting in Georgia.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: minimum 1 year in Radiology.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT.
• BLS (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines ensuring diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment independently with ALARA dose control.
• Maintain infection control; clean and disinfect rooms and equipment.
• Explain procedures and address patient questions using AIDET.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
