Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high‑quality imaging and provide a supportive patient experience. You will perform CT procedures, operate imaging equipment safely, and coordinate with the care team to ensure a smooth workflow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience in Radiology with minimum 1 year.
• ARRT-R, ARRT-CT and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and keep dose ALARA.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and use two patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures and prep using AIDET; ease patient anxiety.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and finalize in RIS/PACS; manage documentation.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, restock life-support equipment as needed.
• Organize daily workflows and support department flow with other technologists.
