Wellstar is seeking a CT Technologist for Cobb Hospital in Georgia. You will perform CT procedures, deliver high-quality imaging, and ensure patient safety and comfort. The role requires ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS certifications, with a supportive team environment and advancement opportunities.

The position is full-time with a 36-hour weekday day shift, offering benefits, sign-on eligibility, relocation support, and career development through Wellstar's programs.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R certification.
• ARRT-CT certification.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).

Mansioni

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines, capturing quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment independently and maintain diagnostic quality at the lowest reasonable dose (ALARA).
• Disinfect and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules; report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history and verify orders prior to exams; use two unique patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures, prep, and post-care clearly using AIDET to reduce patient anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety; provide age-appropriate care during visits.
• Perform exams and administer contrast per protocol; use venipuncture and sterile technique when applicable.
• Position patients, apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as indicated.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability; repeat/correct as needed and release patients appropriately.
• Document accurately and finalize studies in RIS/PACS; manage transfers and prior exam retrieval as needed.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and assist with crash cart and life-support equipment as required.
• Organize daily workflows to meet timelines; collaborate with technologists to support department flow.
• Support operations, keep areas orderly and stocked, and follow regulatory requirements.
