The CT Technologist at Cobb Hospital within Wellstar delivers high-quality imaging and compassionate patient care in a fast-paced radiology setting. You will perform CT exams, maintain patient safety, and contribute to a collaborative care team.

Required qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited radiologic technology program, minimum 1 year in radiology, ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS. Full-time role with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Experience: minimum 1 year in Radiology required.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT, and BLS per American Heart Association.

Responsabilités

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment independently while maintaining ALARA dose principles.
• Disinfect rooms and equipment, report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history and verify orders with two patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and address patient questions to reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy and safety throughout the visit.
• Administer contrast per protocol and use sterile technique when needed.
• Position patients correctly and apply markers and shielding.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, restock and prepare spaces.
