Wellstar is seeking a CT Technologist at Cobb Hospital in Georgia to deliver safe, high-quality CT imaging and support a positive patient experience. You will perform CT procedures, ensure accurate imaging, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to optimize workflow and patient safety.

The role requires ARRT-CT certification, ARRT-R, BLS, and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Follow ALARA principles and infection control protocols.
• Obtain clinical history and verify orders with patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures clearly and reassure patients.
• Ensure patient comfort, safety and privacy throughout exams.
• Administer contrast per protocol and manage venipuncture when needed.
• Document studies in RIS/PACS and manage transfers as required.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies; restock equipment as needed.
• Organize daily workflows to support department operations and regulatory compliance.
