Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R, ARRT-CT and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines and maintain low-dose imaging.
• Operate imaging equipment independently while ensuring diagnostic quality.
• Maintain rooms and equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and identify patients before exams.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and address patient anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition and restock crash cart and life-support equipment as needed.
• Organize daily workflows to support department efficiency and collaboration.
• Complete charging/clerical tasks and escalate issues to supervisor.
