Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. Join a collaborative care team within Cobb Hospital and contribute to patient-centered imaging services.

We value experienced technologists with ARRT credentials who can work with minimal supervision, maintain patient comfort, and follow infection control protocols in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent plus accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• Certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, BLS (American Heart Association).

Responsabilidades

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture high-quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment independently while ensuring patient safety and ALARA principles.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history and screen for contraindications; verify orders and two unique patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures, prep, and post-care using AIDET; address questions and reduce patient anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety; provide age-appropriate care during visits.
• Perform exams and administer contrast per protocol using venipuncture and sterile technique.
• Position patients correctly and apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as indicated.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability; repeat/correct as needed and release patients appropriately.
• Complete accurate, timely documentation and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
