Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Georgia seeks a CT Technologist to deliver high‑quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. You will perform CT procedures, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Required qualifications include a radiologic technology credential, ARRT certification, and at least one year of radiology experience. You’ll work under ALARA principles to minimize dose and participate in documentation within RIS/PACS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology required.
• ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications; BLS.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and maintain documentation.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and ensure proper dosages.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and address patient questions.
• Monitor patient condition and assist with emergencies as needed.
• Complete accurate RIS/PACS documentation and study finalization.
• Organize daily workflows to support department operations.
