Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography procedures and provide a high-quality patient experience. The role requires ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications with BLS, and at least 1 year of radiology experience.

You will operate CT imaging equipment, ensure ALARA dose practices, and collaborate with the care team across shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification required.
• ARRT-CT certification in Computed Tomography required.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely; minimize dose (ALARA) and keep rooms clean.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and ensure two patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and address patient questions to reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, safety; administer contrast per protocol.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition and assist with emergencies; restock life-support equipment.
• Coordinate daily workflow and support department operations and compliance.
