Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, GA seeks a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures with attention to quality and patient safety. You will work within a dedicated radiology team, following ALARA principles and using AIDET to reassure patients.

The role requires ARRT-CT and ARRT-R credentials, at least one year in Radiology, and BLS certification, with ongoing opportunities for professional growth within Wellstar’s imaging services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology required.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT, and BLS (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and ensure ALARA dose practices.
• Maintain infection control; clean/disinfect rooms and report equipment issues.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders and unique patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and address patient questions.
• Position patients, apply markers and shielding, and ensure comfort and safety.
• Document studies accurately in RIS/PACS and manage transfers as needed.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies; restock life-support equipment.
• Collaborate with technologists to support department workflow and compliance.
