Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and a compassionate patient experience. You will perform CT procedures, maintain safety and ALARA principles, and support imaging workflows.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography); ARRT-CT; BLS (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines; capture quality diagnostic images while applying ALARA principles.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and adjust techniques to maintain diagnostic quality.
• Maintain room and equipment cleanliness per infection control schedules; report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and identify patients before exams.
• Explain procedures and prep to patients; address questions to reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Administer contrast per protocol; use venipuncture and sterile technique as needed.
• Position patients; apply markers and shielding; ensure proper immobilization.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability; complete documentation in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies; assist with crash cart readiness.
• Organize daily workflows; support department operations and compliance.
