Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology required.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography); ARRT-CT; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and optimize image quality while maintaining dose.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and independently.
• Prepare, disinfect and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and ensure patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures and address questions to reduce patient anxiety.
• Position patients, apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as needed.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and document findings in RIS/PACS.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

ARRT-R (Radiography)

ARRT-CT – ARRT Computed Tomography

BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association
