Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a CT Technologist for Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, CO. This role requires ARRT (R) and BLS within 60 days, licensure as applicable, and IV competency within 90 days. Level II requires 3+ years CT experience and cross-sectional anatomy knowledge.

Qualifications

• ARRT registration (R) required at hire
• BLS certification within 60 days required
• State licensure as applicable (upon hire)
• IV competency within 90 days required
• Colorado facility-specific fluoroscopy certification preferred
• CT experience in hospital setting 1–2 years preferred (Level I) or 3+ years for Level II

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in clinical and technical functions
• Operate CT equipment and information systems to produce quality images
• Ensure proper patient identification and exam preparation
• Perform exams per department protocol and ensure image quality
• Review images for quality and accuracy; ensure proper anatomy is captured
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment
• Complete studies within department time expectations without compromising care
• Provide patient education and address patient/family concerns
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with other providers
• Stay updated on CT advancements and participate in continuing education
• Instruct students and other radiology staff on protocols and equipment
