Job summary

Intermountain Health’s Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colorado, is seeking a CT Technologist Level II to join our imaging team. You will maintain ARRT competency, operate CT equipment, verify patient identity, perform exams, and ensure image quality while upholding radiation safety.

Qualified candidates have ARRT (R) CT, BLS, state licensure, IV competency, and at least 3 years’ CT experience; Level I qualifications are also listed as preferred.

Qualifications

• Maintain ARRT competency in clinical and technical functions.
• Operate CT equipment and information systems to ensure high-quality images.
• Verify patient identity and prepare for the exam per protocol.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain safety for patients and staff.
• Assist and instruct colleagues in exam protocols and positioning.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate image acquisition and evaluate image quality.
• Review studies to ensure all required anatomy is captured.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with care providers.
• Stay current with advances in CT technology and techniques.
• Educate patients and address concerns during the exam.
