Job summary

Intermountain Health's Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, CO is seeking a CT Technologist to join our radiology team. This 36-hour position requires maintaining ARRT CT competency, patient prep, exam performance, and quality image production in a fast-paced setting.

Level II demands 3+ years CT experience, current ARRT CT, BLS within 60 days, and state licensure. You’ll collaborate with care teams while staying current on CT advances and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification required upon hire.
• BLS certification within 60 days.
• State licensure upon hire.
• IV competency within 90 days.
• Level II requires 3+ years CT experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in all clinical and technical functions.
• Operate CT equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images.
• Identify patients, verify orders, and prep for exams.
• Perform exams per department protocol and review image quality.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies within time limits without compromising care.
• Educate patients, ensure comfort, and address concerns.
• Coordinate care and communicate with other providers.
• Stay updated on CT tech advances and participate in training.
• Instruct students and staff in protocols and positioning.
