Qualifications

• Maintains ARRT competency in clinical and technical functions.
• Operates CT equipment and related information systems to produce quality images.
• Ensures proper patient identification and exam preparation.
• Reviews images for quality, clarity, and anatomical coverage.

Responsibilities

• Understand and operate CT equipment to produce quality images.
• Ensure proper patient identification and exam preparation.
• Perform exams per department protocol.
• Review images for quality and accuracy; ensure anatomical coverage.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies within time limits without compromising care.
• Provide patient education and address concerns; ensure comfort.
• Coordinate patient care and relay information to care providers.
• Stay current with CT technology and participate in education.
• Instruct and assist students and other radiology staff.
