Job summary

Intermountain Health's Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colorado, is seeking a CT Technologist. Maintain ARRT competency, operate CT equipment, ensure patient identification and protocol adherence.

Level I/II qualifications include ARRT CT registration and BLS; 3+ years CT experience preferred for Level II. The role offers a 36-hour work week across three 12-hour shifts and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT registration required upon hire.
• BLS certification within 60 days.
• State licensure upon hire as applicable.
• IV competency within 90 days.
• Colorado fluoroscopy certification preferred for Colorado hires.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in CT functions.
• Operate CT equipment and information systems to produce quality images.
• Ensure proper patient identification and exam preparation.
• Perform exams per department protocol.
• Review images for quality and accuracy.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and safe environment.
• Complete studies within department time expectations.
• Provide patient education and address concerns.
• Coordinate care and communicate with providers.
• Stay current with CT advancements and participate in continuing education.
• Instruct students and junior technologists on protocols.
