Qualifications

• ARRT (R) CT certification is required; Level II preferred.
• BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
• Licensure in state of practice required on hire.
• IV competency required within 90 days.
• Colorado facility may require fluoroscopy certification (preferred).
• 1–2 years CT hospital experience preferred (Level I).
• 3+ years CT experience for Level II technologist.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in all clinical and technical functions.
• Operate CT equipment and information systems to produce quality images.
• Identify patients correctly and prepare them for exams.
• Perform exams per departmental protocol.
• Review images for quality and accuracy.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies within defined time frames while upholding care quality.
• Educate patients and address concerns.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with other providers.
