Qualifications

• ARRT (R) CT registration required/preferred
• BLS certification within 60 days of hire
• IV competency within 90 days
• State licensure as applicable at hire
• 3+ years CT experience preferred for Level II

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in clinical and technical functions
• Operate CT equipment and related information systems
• Ensure patient identification and order verification
• Perform exams per department protocol
• Review images for quality and accuracy
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines
• Complete studies within department time expectations
• Provide patient education and comfort
• Coordinate patient care with other providers
• Stay updated with CT advancements and participate in education
• Instruct students and radiology staff in protocols
