Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to join our imaging team. You will perform CT procedures, capture high‑quality diagnostic images, and ensure patient comfort and safety while applying ALARA and infection control standards.

Required qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, at least 1 year radiology experience, ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, and BLS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• 1 year or more of Radiology experience required.
• ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, plus BLS.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Work independently with imaging equipment and maintain ALARA, infection-control standards.
• Prepare and position patients, verify orders, and document each exam in RIS/PACS.
• Explain procedures using patient-friendly language and reduce anxiety.
• Monitor patient condition during exams and assist with emergencies.
• Assist with room upkeep, equipment cleaning, restocking, and safety checks.
• Collaborate with technologists to support department workflow and compliance.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and ensure timely study finalization.
