Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Georgia seeks a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high‑quality imaging and a reassuring patient experience. You will perform CT procedures, maintain radiation safety (ALARA) and collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team.

Requirements include High School Diploma, accredited Radiologic Technology program completion, ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, and at least 1 year radiology experience.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience preferred.
• Current ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications with BLS.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and protocols.
• Capture high‑quality diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA).
• Operate imaging equipment safely and report any issues promptly.
• Verify orders and screen for contraindications; document exam details in RIS/PACS.
• Explain procedures to patients and address questions to reduce anxiety.
• Maintain patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Assist with contrast administration and venipuncture as required.
• Keep rooms and equipment clean; restock supplies and support department flow.
• Collaborate with technologists and modalities to meet daily workflow goals.
