Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high‑quality imaging and support a positive patient experience.

Required: High School Diploma or equivalent, accredited Radiologic Technology program completion, ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, and BLS.

Competenze

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT, BLS (American Heart Association)

Mansioni

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines, using techniques to maintain diagnostic quality.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and adjust techniques to ALARA.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history and screen for contraindications; verify orders and two unique patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures, prep, and post-care using AIDET; address questions and reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Perform exams and administer contrast per protocol, using venipuncture and sterile technique.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability; repeat or adjust as needed and finalize in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and help restock life‑support equipment.
• Organize daily workflows to meet timeframes; support department flow with other modalities.

Formazione

High School Diploma or equivalent

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
