Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. You will perform CT procedures, apply ALARA principles, and work as part of a collaborative radiology team.

The role requires ARRT CT certification, ARRT radiography, BLS, and at least 1 year radiology experience. You will ensure patient safety, explain procedures, and document exams accurately in RIS/PACS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology is preferred.
• ARRT certifications in Radiography and CT, plus BLS.

Responsabilités

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA standards.
• Disinfect and maintain rooms and equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and identify patients before exams.
• Explain procedures clearly using AIDET; address questions and reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout visits.
• Perform exams with contrast using venipuncture and sterile technique.
• Position patients and apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as indicated.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and document in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, restock life-support equipment as needed.
• Organize daily workflows and support department operations and compliance.
