Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high‑quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. You will perform CT procedures, maintain ALARA standards, and collaborate with the radiology team to ensure diagnostic quality.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, 1 year radiology experience, ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, and BLS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification.
• ARRT-CT certification.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and apply ALARA principles.
• Clean, disinfect and prepare rooms and equipment; report issues promptly.
• Explain procedures and prep using AIDET; address patient questions and reduce anxiety.
• Position patients, apply markers and shielding; ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition and handle emergencies as needed; restock equipment and maintain rooms.
