Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures, deliver high-quality imaging, and provide a supportive patient experience. You will work with a collaborative care team and follow ALARA principles.

Required: high school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program; ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications; BLS; minimum 1 year radiology experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines.
• Capture high-quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and ALARA compliant.
• Disinfect rooms and report equipment issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history and verify patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures using AIDET; address questions.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety.
• Document studies in RIS/PACS and finalize reports.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies.
• Support department workflow and inventory.
